Geordie Wood is a freelance photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. His studio provides a variety of photography services for editorial and commercial clients. This includes art direction, photography, retouching, design and post-production. His work is focused in portraiture and fashion, both in-studio or on location. Geordie graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University in 2007 with a degree in photojournalism and studio photography. His personal and editorial work has been recognized by The Hearst Journalism Awards, Hey, Hot Shot!, Photographers Forum and The Arthur Griffen Foundation. In 2009 he was a finalist for PDNs 30.

When not making photographs, you may find Geordie enjoying Miles in the 1960s, playing the drums and collecting photography books.
